No opening ceremony for ICC ODI World Cup 2023

Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) had pulled out all the stops to make the opening ceremony a memorable one.

Previously, (BCCI) had planned a grand opening ceremony at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on October 4,

The ceremony was supposed to feature renowned Bollywood stars such as Ranveer Singh, Arijit Singh, Tamannaah Bhatia, Shreyas Ghoshal, and Asha Bhosle

The tournament will kick off with a match between the finalists of the previous edition, England and New Zealand.

One of the most anticipated matches of the tournament, Pakistan vs. India, is scheduled for October 14 in Ahmedabad.

All ten captains, including India's skipper Rohit Sharma, will be present in Ahmedabad for the Captains' Day.

They are planning for closing ceremony as of now there might be a lazer show
