As per a Dailymail article citing AFP, a reliable source familiar with the negotiations revealed that Lionel Messi will be joining the Saudi Arabian League for the upcoming season. The undisclosed source also stated that the transfer is significant and has already been finalized.
In the meantime, the Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) player returned to training alongside his teammates after receiving a suspension for an unsanctioned trip to Saudi Arabia.
The suspension resulted from his absence during PSG’s game against Troyes, as he was penalized with a fine and two weeks suspension by the club.
